ChangeScale’s 4th Annual Environmental Literacy Congress

April 25, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Registration is now open for ChangeScale’s Fourth Annual Environmental Literacy Congress to be held at the San Francisco Zoo on April 25 from 10 am – 2:30 pm, followed by a networking reception. Join us for this unique opportunity to connect with peers from across the region, discuss critical issues facing the field, and collaborate on new strategies to increase cultural relevancy, partner with schools, and integrate research into practice.

We are thrilled to announce that educator, researcher, and author Elin Kelsey will share her message for hope, resilience and the environment to kick off the day. A visiting scholar at Stanford University, Dr. Kelsey will share her insights on the role of hope and optimism in environmental work. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in one of two breakout sessions.

  • Breakout 1: School District Partnerships – Exploring emerging strategies and tools for expanding equitable access to environmental education in school communities
  • Breakout 2: Research and Practice – What it looks like when research is applied to EE programs

Morning snacks, lunch, and afternoon refreshments will be provided. More specifics about location and parking will be sent to those who register.

Please register today! See you on April 25.

Please note:

  • Doors will open at 9:30 am.
  • Tickets will not be available at the door.
