Environmental Education for All

This is a pivotal time in education, and an opportunity for the field of environmental education. Over the next five years, school districts across the state will implement new science standards, which emphasize content and pedagogy that is highly aligned with environmental education. At the same time, the newly released California Blueprint for Environmental Literacy outlines an ambitious goal to increase access to environmental education for all California students.

Working together we have the opportunity to expand access to environmental education to youth across the Bay Area. Join us to explore strategies for how we can capitalize on this moment in time, and work together with schools and the communities they serve to engage more youth in environmental learning opportunities.
